Understanding the Population Finder

The Population Finder displays population numbers from the 1990 Census, Census 2000, and the latest Population Estimates data, as well as selected links to tables and maps showing population data.

Note that data from all years might not be available for your selected geography. For example, you might have a city or town that didn't exist in 1990, but did in 2000. Also, estimates from the Population Estimates program aren't available for ZIP codes or census tracts.
